Like a dream come true that couldn’t be more well-deserved, Myster E Mel Kiki won “Best Drag King” at the 24th annual Glam Awards in 2022. Myster E Mel Kiki | non-binary latinx drag king has been in love with performing since the age of six years old. You’ll also find starring in the award-winning TV show Sort Of. They’ve also starred as “Silas” in the short film They/Them, which was awarded Best Short Film at the LGBTQ+ Toronto Film Festival. Salazar, stands at the forefront of the drag king scene in Toronto. Aside from winning drag competitions in Ottawa and Montreal, he’s taken over stages in Toronto, London, Berlin, Dublin, Winnipeg, New York City, and Los Angeles. Charli Deville | a drag king, activist, and producer Charli Deville shines bright no matter what he does. HercuSleaze | it comes to drag kings in Canada, HercuSleaze is one of the most recognized names! This director, illustrator, and graphic novelist became a star for winning 5th place on Call Me Mother’s first season in 2021. As one of the most popular drag kings out there, Cider’s made a big name from winning The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula in 2019 and has also appeared on season two of Call Me Mother. Landon Cider | Cider’s show-stopping looks never fail to captivate crowds and earn a crazy amount of double taps. Being more than just a bit of a crowd favourite, this drag king came in 5th place. Justin Abit | may know Justin from being a contestant on Call Me Mother season two back in 2022. Taking his talents to the TV scene, Murray has also starred in Hulu’s Life & Beth and HBO’s Somebody, Somewhere.
